If you are a member of the LGBTQ community, or an ally, and need access to resources in Toronto or at TFS, you can check out many of them here. You can also speak with a member of your campus’s student services team for advice or support any time.

Inclusive Washrooms
Located at Davisville Campus (1835 Yonge Street, 2nd floor), and Dundas Campus (10 Dundas Street E, 7th floor, and 460 Yonge Street).

Coming Out (Human Rights Campaign): A database of resources for LGBTQ members who are coming out of the closet and might have questions or need support.

Hassle Free Clinic

provides free medical and counselling services in many areas of sexual health. Located in downtown Toronto.

Sherbourne Health Centre

 Sherbourne Health Centre offers a wide range of primary healthcare programs and services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, two-spirited, intersex, queer or questioning individuals. Their goal is to provide dignified, non-judgmental services to help clients feel better, cope better with day-to-day challenges and address specific LGBTQ health issues.

Access Alliance

Offers programs and services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer newcomers to Canada.

AIDS Committee of Toronto

Information about HIV, AIDS, and Safe Sex information for LGBTQ in Toronto.

The Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives

The largest independent LGBTQ+ archives in the world. With a focus on Canadian content, the CLGA acquires, preserves and provides public access to information and archival materials in any medium.

Glad Day Bookshop

A bookshop geared specifically towards the LGBTQ community specializing in LGBTQ literature.

Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans Youthline

A toll-free Ontario-wide peer-support phone line for LGBTQ young people aged 26 and under.

Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) Toronto

A national organization that helps all Canadians with issues of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression.
