What is the Peer Tutoring Program?
The Peer Tutoring Program is a great resource that is available to help you achieve success in your academic pursuits. Tutorials are scheduled around students’ availability. Peer tutoring is a complimentary service for all TFS students.
How to Request a Tutor?
- Please email [email protected] to request a tutor.
- Indicate your full name and the course in which you require assistance.
- Once your email is received, we will contact you to arrange the first meeting with your tutor.
- *Students who do not regularly attend class are ineligible for tutoring!
Who Are Peer Tutors?
- Senior level students who have been notably successful in their program.
- Students who have been trained in effective tutoring practices.
- Students who are eager to share their insights to help others succeed.

Yes.
Once your tutorial is scheduled, it will take place at the same day and time each week. You will arrange a schedule with your tutor that works for you both. When you feel like you no longer need a tutor, please let your Tutoring Coordinator know that you wish to cancel your sessions.
Contact Student Services. If you require additional resources outside of the tutor’s area of expertise, we can help you locate these.
Contact your tutor as soon as you can to cancel your session. Alternatively, you can contact Student Services and they can tell your tutor on your behalf. It’s very important to communicate with your tutor if you have to cancel.
