What is the Peer Mentoring Program?
The Peer Mentoring Program helps new TFS students connect with peers in higher terms so they can ask questions and ease in to their new post-secondary student lifestyle.
Why Get a Peer Mentor?
A Peer Mentor can help you:
- Get comfortable with your new school, schedule, courses, etc.
- Be connected and engaged with the college community.
- Locate useful campus resources.
- Become aware of unique college opportunities that will enhance your college experience.
- Develop new strategies to help you succeed in college
- Develop new strategies to help you succeed in college Answer any questions you might be more comfortable speaking to a fellow peer about.

- Students who understand the challenges typically associated with starting college.
- Students who are eager to share their insights to help others succeed.
