If you are seeing this on your campus, it is because you are using an incorrect link.

Your assignment due dates can be found in the course syllabus under the “Student Evaluation” tab on the right-hand side. Your first initial post to the Discussion Question for each unit is due on Wednesday, and you must post a reply to two of your fellow classmate’s posts by Sunday of that unit.

Your instructors email address can be found in the course syllabus, under the “Your Instructor” tab on
the left-hand side.

If you are experiencing any technical issues, put in an AskTFS ticket by going to https://my.online.torontofilmschool.ca/ask. It is always best to attach a screenshot of the issue, as this will help our IT department to obtain a visual idea of what the issue is.

Required materials for each course will be available once the courses go live, which is a week before the start date.

Your textbooks can be ordered from: bookstore.yorkvilleu.ca

  1. First, make your best effort to plan ahead if you know that you will be away. Try to complete your work beforehand, and submit it. You are always able to submit your work before the due date.
  2. Let your Instructor know that you will be away, in case they attempt to reach you.
  3. If something has come up, and you need to leave unexpectedly, contact your Instructors to let them know that you will not be able to meet the deadline for your coursework, and make arrangements with them on when you can submit your work.

Reach out to your Student Services Advisor, who will be able to provide you with helpful resources.

Email a passport-like photograph of yourself, along with your Student Number, and address to [email protected].

Please note that these may take a couple of weeks to come in by mail, so it is important to request one as soon as possible.

Students have access to their courses for approximately 4 weeks after the last day of classes.
